Terri-Ann Thompson is a versatile and resourceful professional with approximately 10 years’ experience in Corporate Communications and Marketing.
As a freelance Marketing and Communications Specialist she has been engaged as a Project Manager/Consultant with a number of Communications teams including those at The University of the West Indies, the Chaguaramas Development Authority and the Church of God of Prophecy group of churches. She has honed skills in the area of strategy development and has worked on targeted Communications strategies to support Change Management, Employee Engagement, Leadership Transitioning and Strategic and Operational Planning processes. Terri-Ann is also versed in Content Marketing and website content management. As she works with numerous projects teams, Terri-Ann adds value in her ability to help the group focus on sustainability considerations local to the project; a concept which was also the subject of her Master’s research.
Co-owner of a small start-up business, Terri-Ann is an entrepreneur at heart and is keenly interested in: problem solving using entrepreneurial tactics, organizational learning, and finding ways to make sustainable practices more integrated in local business models.
Terri-Ann’s undergraduate studies focused on Human Communication and Literatures in English. She’s also the holder of a Master’s degree in Leadership and Organization with a Sustainability specialty from Malmö University, Sweden and professional certification as a Special Events Manager from the George Washington University. Along with being a natural networker and communicator, this unique training combination means that Terri-Ann always brings a distinctive perspective to the table.
